Once a month, the youth groups in the surrounding Knoxville area get together for a big Area Wide youth event.
These events are typically hosted by one of the participating churches and dinner is usually provided. There are usually 4 or more youth groups present at these events.
Althought the times of these events may vary, they typically run from 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM (or close to it).
The purpose is simple: “To spend time with one another and give all the glory to God through our worship and devotional time.”
We have found this to be a great thing for our teens as it gets them around other teens who are like minded. Nothing beats growing closer to your brothers and sisters in Christ as you strive to grow closer to God together.
Make sure to come out and join us at the next Area Wide. Whether you come out with the KYG or another church’s youth group, it really doesn’t matter as long as we are together, serving and worshipping Our God along with hundreds of teens area wide!
